Terms of service
Last updated July 31, 2026
These terms govern your use of the Shopfloor Shopify app ("the App"), operated by Aikolumi Software PVT LTD ("we", "us"). Installing the App means you accept them. If you are accepting on behalf of a business, you confirm you are authorised to do so.
1. What the App is
Shopfloor is an internal task board that runs inside your Shopify admin. It gives you:
- projects, and work items within them
- a kanban board and a list view, across the states Backlog, Todo, In Progress, Done and Cancelled
- an owner, priority, labels, a due date and comments on each work item
- an optional link from a work item to a product in your catalogue
- a "Your work" view, and a staff roster
Everything in the App is internal. It is visible only to people signed in to your Shopify admin, and it is never shown to your customers or on your storefront.
What it is not. The App does not include cycles, sprints, modules, epics, sub-tasks, a wiki, analytics or reporting dashboards, automation or workflow triggers, time tracking, or AI features. If a future version adds any of these, these terms will be updated.
2. Your account and your staff
The App is accessed through your Shopify admin; we do not issue separate logins. Anyone you give Shopify admin access to can use the App and see everything in it.
Your staff roster fills in two ways: a person is recorded automatically the first time they
open the App, and anyone without a Shopify login you add by hand. The App cannot fetch
your staff list from Shopify — that requires the read_users scope, which
Shopify grants only to Plus and Advanced stores and which the App does not request. The App
asks for one scope only, read_products, so that a work item can be linked to a
product in your catalogue.
You are responsible for the people you give admin access to, and for telling the people on your roster that their name and email are stored in the App.
3. Plans, seats and payment
3.1 The plans
| Plan | Price | Staff seats |
|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | 3 |
| Team | $29 per month, or $290 per year | 10 |
| Store | $59 per month, or $590 per year | Unlimited |
All prices are in US dollars and exclude any tax Shopify applies to your account.
3.2 What the plan gates
Staff seats, and nothing else. Projects, work items, comments, history, both views, priorities, labels, due dates and product links are unlimited on every plan, including Free. No feature is behind the paywall. The only thing a paid plan buys is more people on the roster.
If you reach your seat limit, the App will not let you add another person until you upgrade. It will never delete work, and never blocks you from creating work items.
3.3 How you are charged
All charges are made through Shopify's own billing system and appear on your regular Shopify invoice. We never see or handle your card. There is no external payment processor anywhere in the App.
Paid plans are recurring subscriptions and renew automatically — monthly or annually, whichever you chose — until you cancel.
3.4 Free trial
Paid plans include a 14-day free trial, granted once per store, ever. Changing plans, cancelling and re-subscribing does not start a second trial. If you cancel during the trial you are not charged.
3.5 Changing plans
You can upgrade, downgrade or cancel from the Pricing page in the App at any time, without contacting us. Upgrades take effect when you approve the new charge with Shopify, which prorates the change. Downgrades and cancellations take effect at the end of the period you have already paid for.
3.6 What happens when a plan lapses
If your subscription is cancelled, expires or is frozen, your store returns to the Free plan. We never delete staff records on a downgrade. A store that drops from 10 seats to 3 keeps all 10 people and every assignment on the board; it simply cannot add an 11th until it upgrades again. Nothing you created is removed.
3.7 Refunds
If the App does not do what §1 says it does, email mo@touchstage.com within 30 days of a charge and we will refund it in full. Refunds are issued through Shopify. Beyond that, charges for periods already elapsed are not refundable.
3.8 Price changes
We may change prices. Existing subscribers will be told at least 30 days before a change affects them, and can cancel before it takes effect. A price change never applies to a period already paid for.
4. Acceptable use
Don't use the App to:
- store payment card numbers, government identifiers, health records, or other sensitive personal data — it is not built for that and is not certified for it
- store your customers' personal data. The App never asks Shopify for it; typing it into a work item makes you responsible for it
- break the law, or Shopify's own Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy
- attack, overload, reverse-engineer or probe the App or its infrastructure
- resell or rent access to the App to anyone outside your own business
5. Your content
The projects, work items, comments and staff records you create are yours. We claim no ownership of them. We store and process them only to run the App for you, as described in the privacy policy.
You are responsible for what your staff put into free-text fields.
6. Our intellectual property
The App itself — its code, design and name — remains ours. These terms grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use it while your store is installed and in good standing, and nothing more.
7. Availability, support and changes
We aim to keep the App available and working, but it is provided as is, without warranty of any kind. We do not promise a specific uptime, and there is no SLA on any plan.
Support is by email at mo@touchstage.com, in English. We aim to reply within two business days.
We may change or remove features. If a change materially reduces what the App does on a paid plan, we will tell you before it lands and you may cancel for a prorated refund of the unused period.
8. Liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for lost profits, lost revenue, or lost or corrupted data.
Our total liability for any claim is capped at the amount you paid us for the App in the twelve months before the claim arose. On the Free plan, that amount is zero.
Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
9. Termination
You can uninstall the App from your Shopify admin at any time. Uninstalling cancels any active subscription through Shopify and stops future charges.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you break §4, or if Shopify removes the App from the App Store. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will warn you first.
On termination, your data is deleted as described in §7 of the
privacy policy: the access token goes immediately, and everything else
is erased when Shopify sends shop/redact, 48 hours after uninstall.
Export anything you want to keep before you uninstall.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, where Aikolumi Software PVT LTD is incorporated.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The current version is always on this page with its date at the top. Material changes are announced in the App at least 30 days before they take effect; continuing to use the App after that means you accept them.
